Happy Birthday Dad

Welcome Home/Happy Birthday/Happy Hole in 1 PARTY to the worlds GREATEST DAD

1) My parents got home from their mission last week
2) It was my dad's birthday
3) My dad got a Hole in 1 in California at the Sands Golf Resort
 *This party was to celebrate all of those events

                                        

 We had a contest where people guessed the golf tees and also how many golf balls in the containers. We also had a mini golf course set up outside for the grandkids to play on.

 Lisa is so talented. She made this hole in 1 cake for his birthday celebration.

Service Mission - Colton California from November 2011-April 2012

My parents served a 6 month mission in California were they worked in the Employment Center.
They helped people find employment and also worked with the less active members in their area. So many people loved them and they made such an impact in their lives very quickly. We missed having them home but it was such a blessing to have my parents serving a mission. My parents live everyday as a missionary. They don't need a missionary tag on to be a missionary. I don't know of 2 other people in the world that give more of their time and talents to serve neighbours, their children and complete strangers. They are such great examples! I love you mom and dad.

 They weren't home 20 minutes before the door bell started ringing. Aunts and Uncles came by to welcome my parents home too.

Easter

                EASTER WITH THE SIBLINGS
This year we spent Easter in Cardston with my siblings. Both Jason's mom and my parents were out of town so we had Easter dinner with my siblings. All the girls chipped in to help make a wonderful turkey dinner. My parents were still on their mission in California and Jason's was in BC.

Lucy had a little fall on the weekend. She was running into the house and slipped and hit a chair. The chair didn't move, she broke the chair and has a nice scar to show for it now.

The kids played on electronics and the woman made dinner.

And the men cleaned up dinner and we have pictures to prove that they can do it.

Easter Dinner was success. Easter is a time to be grateful and thankful for the things we have been blessed with. I am grateful for a  Savior who died for each of us so that we may live again. I am grateful for his life and I am grateful for his example. Happy Easter everyone!!!
